Several months ago I left this gallery in favour of my Original Art Gallery

However, recently i've been doing an intensive short business course, and a lot has happend to alter my view on my art.

I stopped doing fan art because I felt it was almost a cop out- stealing from my origfinal works and getting glory for it's subject rather then it's skill level.

To an extent that's true. But...

The original work i do is almost equally as 'sell out'. My main aim has always been my comic, but I've been doing unrelated art for quite some time, fan art or otherwise. My Uncomic related art, then is stealing just as much from my main goal as my fan art.

So....

I plan to continue doing limited non comic art to keep the art business machine ticking over, and I plan to re open this gallery for FAN ART ONLY!

I'm moving from this Deviant Art account and into a new one.

it was a hard choice to make, but after over four years here i decided it was time to update my gallery and make the name match my trading name, 'Lilly Kitten'.

Don't panic, because popular deviations, like 'Bishi HOT Line', 'A Harry Potter guide to Slash' and 'Yaoi' are staying here, as not to mess up too many +fav's.

however, quite a few deviations will be moved or deleted. the ones I move will have a temporary image up, and a link to their new home, so i can make the transfer as easy as possible for everyone.

LIFE AS I KNOW IT...

Not much news, I just wanted to get rid of my old journal...

Lets fill the space with random news!

At circus school, the trapease and I have settled our differences, and I can finally hauled my butt up onto it, which I'm mightily proud, seeing we've had a disagreement about it every aerials class.

I'm progressively selling off chunks of my old room on ebay, and have finally moved a double bed in my room *sprawl!* and a great deal of crap out.

My manga collection is getting a bit ridiculosuly large. oh well. Not like I'm actually going to part with it or anything....

ART STUFF!
Currently on an art blitz. I recently aquired the nifitest machine that makes stickers, and I've been having mega fun with that, along with an awesome little shop in the Melbourne CBD where you can make your own button badges. Ostensibly, I'm doing it to set up my !BRAND SPANKING NEW! Stall at St. Kilda Market. Honestly, I'm doing it because it's fun. I need to find somewhere that prints cards (the gift type, not the business type, mind) then I'm set!

I broke my promise with my 100 Picture Project, and quit doing them in order. it didn't last long. it lasted two pictures to be precise, before I threw a tanty and jumped from image two on the list to image fourty-two. At least they're getting done.

MEGA LOADS on the manga/comic. Yey!

And fan art is rearing it's ugly head again, but it's a comission, so I'm excused. Two pictures of Sesshomaru from "InuYasha" (Giving me a beautiful excuse to spend some afternoons watching anime) and one of Soubi from the lesser known "Loveless" If I wasn't stone broke, I'd buy it on DVD for reference. But for now, considering the moths flying out of my purse, I have to live with the manga. Not that I'm complaining...
